Michael E. Lutonsky
Field Operations Manager - Denver
Mike Lutonsky, an operations manager with fifteen years experience in structural
repair and twenty two years of construction experience. He has several years of
field job management experience, single jobs with contract amounts exceeding one
million dollars and has also been the lead on multiple jobs at one time. As operations
manager Mike manages a very talented and diverse group of field supervisors that
are considered the leaders in the industry of structural repair.
As a project Superintendent Mike was able to gain experience in structural steel
rehabilitation when leading a crew that reestablished the foundation that supports
the Incline Railway at the Royal Gorge Bridge in Canyon City Colorado. He has been
involved in the concrete repair of the runways of Denver International Airport.
The placement of a new runway lighting system at the Colorado Springs International
Airport which involved the placement of concrete out of a mobile mixer that would
accept aircraft landing on it three hours after it’s placement. Other projects include
Historic preservation projects in historic Black Hawk Colorado and the Castlewood
Canyon Bridge Arch rehabilitation project in Franktown Colorado. The Castlewood
project was the first composite reinforcement project that the Colorado Department
of Transportation had under taken. It included the removal of delaminated concrete
and replacing it with a wet mix shotcrete, placing a corrosion inhibitor on the
remainder of the concrete surface and wrapping the entire arch surface with an epoxy
bonded carbon fiber. All while not having access to the earth surface below the
bridge. This project has received many rewards including Sub Contractor of the year
for Restruction Corporation from the Colorado Contractors Association and Project
of the year from the American Concrete Institute. Mike’s resume includes several
epoxy injection jobs and one epoxy coating job that included diverting fifteen cubic
feet per second of water over the work surface of the of Roberts Tunnel to allow
coating of the bottom of the tunnel surface.
Pryor to joining Restruction Corporation Mike attended one year at Cameron University
in Lawton Oklahoma then was employed by Dolese Brothers Company in Richards Spur
Oklahoma. While with Dolese Brothers Mike was on a multi million dollar crusher
renovation project. He gained experience in steel structures and project building
while employed here.
Mike is a certified pipe and structural welder. He has several safety training certifications
and is trained in several repair procedures and material uses. He is responsible
for the training of all field personal in the Colorado division of Restruction Corporation.
Robert McCormac
Operations Manager - Phoenix Office
Mr. McCormac is a Senior Field Superintendent and has been employed with Restruction
Corporation for 11 years. Prior to joining Restruction Corporation Bob was a Construction
Superintendent for Public Storage for 7 years. Bob was running commercial construction
projects for Public Storage between 3 and 5 million in revenue and doing two to
three jobs per year.Bob is involved in the training of our field employees in safety,
new procedures and techniques. Bob also regularly attends training seminars involving
concrete repairs, concrete mixes and repair materials.
Major Project Experience-Award Winning Projects
KBP Coil Coaters Facility, Denver Colorado- $1.50 million folded roof plate
slab concrete repair and structural strengthening damaged by fire. International
Concrete Repair Institute National Category Award, 2004. Reinforced concrete roof
system damaged by fire required partial depth concrete removal using hydrodemolition.
Bond testing of new repair concrete and shear and moment strengthening using glass
and carbon composite materials.
Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe Arizona- $1.90 million contract to construct steel
concourse beam active strengthening system. A unique jacking system was developed
and employed to improve work efficiency.
Montbello Warehouse, Denver Colorado-$700,000 structural repair of a 50,000
square foot twin tee roof structure damage by excessive snow load. Jacking of two
story commercial warehouse roof structure to replace bearing pads was required.
Eaton High School, Eaton Colorado- $180,000 contract to repair deteriorated
wood glu-lam arches supporting roof of high school natatorium. Unique jacking system
employed to remove bearing end of glu-lam system. Replacement of bearing end with
tube stock assembly.
Metro Waste Water bridge re-hab, Denver Colorado- $354,279.00 bridge deck
repair, project included hydrodemolition of top four inches of concrete and placement
of new topping while bridge was still in operation.
Foothill Village, Salt Lake City Utah- $3,019,000.00 structural repair
of a parking garage including removal and replacement of existing double tees, reinforcing
existing double tees, removal and replacement of concrete toppings all work completed
while mall was in operation and in very tight quarters.
Guy Bolden
Field Operations Manager- Salt Lake City Office
Guy Boulden is the Field Operations Manager for the Salt Lake City operations
of Restruction Corporation. Guy has been a member of the Restruction team since
1999. He is a past superintendent, successfully managing large projects such as
the Intermountain Power Service Corporation Cooling Tower Repair Project (*demo)
He has also managed projects at the Flaming Gorge Dam Bridge, U.S. Magnesium Corporation,
and at the Mormon Tabernacle Building. He has significant experience with composite
strengthening and thin bonded polymer overlays used as a bridge deck chloride screen.
Adam Zius
Project Engineer - Phoenix Office
Project Engineer- Adam Zius is a Civil Engineering graduate from Colorado School
of Mines, Golden Colorado. He was the project engineer, during the highly accelerated
work schedule required for the Arizona State University Sun Devil Stadium Repairs.
Adam has project experience with pre-cast repairs, structure jacking, shoring, urethane
injection and parking structure repairs.
